Okay so here is a page entirley dedicated to the Music and sounds. This page will include some information about the different genres and artists used in Horror films. I'll be checking out some music that is used in films and getting ideas from them for my Film by taking elements of the type of intrsuments,vocals and effects used.
Bands used in Horror films. (these mainly being rock...)
We usually tend to associate the Rock genre with the horror genre as the rock music is loud,fierce and can represent horror perfectly as the lyrics invovled in the soundtracks are usually about violence,death and destruction aswell as power. Also people who have a "thing" for blood,violence and supernatural stuff , stereotypically tend be thoes who associate themselves with the rock culture.

Charles is well known for producing the famouse ending theme "Hello Zepp "to the "Saw" Movies. He is a professional american musician who can play the drums and synth, he was part of the band "Nine Inch Nails" and is a well known for his abilites in sound engeineering and sound mixing. Aswell as scoring the music for "Saw" He also created the score's for the Resident Evil Extinction, Dead Silence , these also being horrors as this is the main genre he tends to focus on.
